Coco (Carmen Miranda)'s Story
Coco was found wandering the streets in Redwood City. She was wet, matted and very dirty. She had a collar but no tags or microchip to tell where she belonged. She was taken to Peninsula Humane Society where she had a bath and was groomed. She was vaccinated, spayed and microchipped but the shelter setting was overwhelming for her. After days at PHS, her first family came but they didn't want to take her home. CIW brought the one and a half year old Coco home. She talks and is just not sure what is happening to her. She is polite member of the family and knows how to use the dog door. Day by day you see Coco gaining confidence that people love her and she shows her love back. Now this sweet little cockapoo is looking for her "real forever" family - the family that sees what a special loving little girl she is! Is that your family?
