We're happy you're interested in becoming a Companions in Waiting volunteer. Below is a list of ways you can help CIW with the gift of your time.

• Cat Care Volunteer
  Can you commit one hour twice weekly to caring for some of our foster cats and kittens? Primary responsibilities are socializing cats and kitten, and litterbox cleaning. Some of the kittens that come into our care are shy, and the chance to play with you helps them become friendly and confident. This position takes place at one of our foster homes in Menlo Park, California.
• Adoption Fair Staff
  We hold adoption fairs in Menlo Park and Half Moon Bay. We need volunteers who can learn the Companions in Waiting adoption policies, work with the public, and commit to attending a certain number of adoption fairs monthly to help facilitate adoptions. If you love animals, helping them find loving homes is a highly rewarding experience.
• Communications Director
  Strong writing skills and a love of companion animals are the requirements for this position. We're looking for a Communications Director who can compile information for our annual newsletter, write articles and put it all together for publication.
