Malia's Story

In the middle of June, five beautiful kittens were seen running around in a coast side neighborhood backyard. The neighbor contacted rescue people to help these little ones escape the feral life. Although it took some time, these beautiful kittens were trapped and brought inside. Mom cat will soon be trapped and spayed. The person who trapped the kittens contacted CIW to see if we could help find the kittens their forever homes and we could. The kittens foster family decided that the kittens should have Roman names because they are so classically beautiful and handsome. Boys, Caius and Quintus and girls, Aquilina, Delia and Vibia are healthy, social kittens. They are current with their vaccinations, are spayed and neutered, are micro-chipped and have tested negative for feline leukemia and aids.

The kittens foster mom says that like her particolored face, Delia has a split personality: she is a true lap cat, but also can’t wait for you to break out the wand toys!  She’ll hop right into your lap after giving you a kiss on the nose and will lounge there forever — until a wand toy comes out!  Then she’ll chase the toy back and forth until she’s panting like a dog — make sure you schedule a water break!

Now these kittens just need to find their forever families. Are one or two of these wonderful babies meant to be part of your family?
