Companions in Waiting success stories
Bow (was Blynken)

Early in April a call came asking if we could help 3 very young kittens. When we met the kittens, they were indeed very young - 2-3 days old. They had their umbilical cords still attached. The survival rate of kittens this young coming away for Mom is very low but if they have the will to live, great things can happen. One of the kittens was doing very poorly and we were worried. Unfortunately it didn't make it. The day after the first 3 kittens came, we had another call to say that there was a 4th kitten. This one had been rescued from a raven's beak. The person who found the first three kittens, saw the raven with a kitten in it's beak and startled the bird who dropped the kitten. That kitten was little grey and white Wynken. The kittens grew into beautiful, sweet, and healthy babies and in time along came an e-mail asking if Wynk and Blynk were still looking for their forever family. After meeting the person behind the e-mail, it was clear, Wynk and Blynk had found their forever Mom. Now they are big city kitties with new names. Blynken is Bow because he has a white bow tie and pretty little Wyken is Esmie. They have a beautiful big city apartment to run and play in and a Mom to love them, care for them, and spoil them. What more could a kitten want?
