Valentino's Story
Valentino and his brother, Marshall, are Corgi-Terrier-Mixes who were serving as companion animals to a family with neuro-immune disease. When the family was forced to move, they were unable to keep the boys.
Valentino and Marshall will lie quietly at your feet, follow you from room to room, and go for easy, short walks, but they do like a good long romp in a big yard or dog park when they can get one. They know many commands including sit, wait & release, up-up, down, out of it, and leave it. They are very, very active but velcro dogs. They want to be with their people. They do really well with older children. We have been working on their dog manners and their recall but for now they need a secure yard .
Valentino has the stouter build, funny wrinkle-faced with a white heart-shaped mark on his forehead, puppyish features, likes to walk on the right, and is a bit more outgoing. Marshall has the leaner build and more noble features, likes to walk on the left and is a bit more polite and shy. Both boys are golden brown, have short and surprisingly silky coats, and are about 20 to 25 lbs.
Valentino and Marshall are very bonded to each other and are looking for their forever home together. Has your family been waiting for a pair of wonderful pups, like the boys, to join you?
Valentino and Marshall were born on July 14, 2006. They have been neutered and are age appropriately current with their vaccinations.
