Joey D's Story
Joey and his brother were with their caretaker from the time they were puppies till their caretaker passed away - 10 years. The boys were taken to Peninsula Humane Society. Going from a very quiet home to a very noisy kennel situation was very stressful for the boys and they did not do well. Concerned neighbors found out about he boys dilemma and rescued them from PHS and contacted CIW. It was decided that the boys would be better if they were not together. Joey came to CIW. His brother is in foster care waiting for his forever family too. Joey is a great companion on his own or with another dog. He loves attention and cuddling in a lap. Joey is neutered and his vaccinations are current. He loves going for short walks but he has a heart murmur and so is not up to long hikes. He is a happy guy who just wants someone to love him and who he can love. Are you Joey's special family?
