Odette's Story

Odette turned up in a feral colony in Mountain View when she was very pregnant. The feeder let her have her 6 kittens. The little family were trapped and taken in to the Silicon Valley Animal Control Authority on Sept. 20 but SVACA did not want to help the little family. They were all spayed/neutered and ear tipped, vaccinated.

Odette is a tame and sweet all white kitty, just a bit jumpy what with her babies to protect and what has happened to her. Her kittens did need socializing to be good family companions. All the kittens have been taken to rescue. Odette was put back in the feral colony on Sept 25th.

As she is an all white kitty, Odette is much more prone to getting sunburned and then skin cancer especially on her nose and ears. They should never be outdoors. It was imperative to get Odette indoors. She was picked up again and seemed really happy to get into a crate and come indoors. She uses her litter box and is a polite little girl. She loves getting petted and does not object to being picked up and cuddled. She likes a gentle brushing too. Has your family been looking for a beautiful white family companion like Odette?
