Maggie's Story
Maggie started as a stray puppy at the Peninsula Humane Society ten years ago. A family found and adopted her but it was not to last. Maggie's caretaker asked CIW to help look for a great family that was meant just for this wonderful girl. Maggie found a wonderful family that were her family but tragically, both members of the family passed away within a month of each other. Now Maggie is looking again. Maggie is a spayed, micro-chipped, lab/hound mix. She loves people tall and short and gets along with dogs. She loves going for a walk, playing with her toys, fetching balls and just hanging out with her people. We found out that Maggie needed a relatively quiet home with lots of structure, no small children and where she could be the only dog.
