Poppy's Story

Poppy was rescued as a very young puppy from a gas station parking lot. The young couple who rescued her loved her and took care of her until their circumstances  changed and they had to find a new home for their special Poppy. She is a sweet little girl who loves to play with other small dogs, is afraid of cats, is great with people and is looking for a lap that she can curl up in. She is spayed, and age appropriately current with her vaccinations. She has her microchip. All should have been well and Poppy should have been settled for her life but that was not to be. The family kenneled Poppy for many hours each day with little time out to play and be a young happy puppy. She tried to tell them she needed more exercise and personal contact. Finally they heard and called CIW to return Poppy to us so we could find a family that really wanted a happy young dog to be a real member of their family. In her foster home, Poppy found her best friend with the same energy level as Poppy and who needed her help to feel confident. Have you been looking for little sweethearts to be your buddy?
