Elwood's Story
The College of San Mateo doesn’t just educate people. It was the birthplace of 5 beautiful kittens. The kittens’ Mom did a lovely job with her little family but some of the College staff wanted to give the youngsters a long, safe and happy life with families. The 2 boys, Bulldog and Beethoven and the 3 girls, Marie Curie, Galina and Ciana were all named for places around the college. They have tested negative for FELV/FIV, have had their kitten vaccinations and neutered and micro-chipped. They love to be petted and purr like troopers. The staff rescuers found wonderful homes for the girls but no one came for the boys. So Beethoven and Bulldog became CIW babies. They are a sweet pair who just want pets and some human to love them.
