Companions in Waiting success stories
Mini (was Mignon)
In 2015, a Mom cat was rescued from a neglect situation shortly before her kittens were born. Her three kittens were born in a home in early May and grew to be sweet, healthy, social kittens but their foster Mom knew that she was needing help to find them their forever homes. So she called CIW for help. One brother found his Mom fairly quickly but Pierre and his sister Mignon's forever family just never came. Lots of people admired this handsome pair but didn't say the kittens belonged with them until CIW's last Adoption Fair of 2016. A lady came looking. She came back the next day. She visited the kittens at their foster home and the kittens were relaxed and played coyly with her. They had chosen their new Mom just as she had chosen them! They have new names to go with their new home. Pierre is now called Miki and Mignon now comes when Mini is called. Many, many happy years together!!!
