Ziggy (was Wonka)

In Feb. 2014, CIW received a call from a lady who was having to find new homes for her 2 dogs. She realized that she could not give them the care and attention that she felt they needed and deserved. One of the little dogs found her new family quite quickly but for some unfathomable reason Ziggy's family didn't appear. This wonderful little guy enjoyed the Fairs but hated being in the pen. His happy personality made everyone around him happy. A young boy who was scared of dogs, trusted Ziggy but his perfect family was nowhere in sight. Ziggy loved going for walks. His ears and his tail went up and he strutted right along but he had no one to strut with. One day there was an e-mail from a couple who had seen Ziggy but couldn't consider adopting him at the time. A month or more later, they checked and saw that Ziggy had waited for them. When they all met, you could tell that there was a family in the making. The day after Ziggy went to his "forever" family, his Mom called to say that it feels like Ziggy has always been there. There isn't anything that could be better!
