Companions in Waiting success stories
Maggie
Ten years ago, when Maggie was a puppy, she was looking for her forever family at Peninsula Humane Society. An adoption happened but it was not to last. Then Maggie found a wonderful couple but tragically both passed away within a month of each other. Maggie was all alone again. But Maggie had angel friends who were looking out for her. One angel took Maggie into her home. Maggie's community has many dog families. The word spread that Maggie was looking for a new family. One of the dog families came to see our beautiful Maggie. They decided that they belonged together and so did we. Maggie's new Mom told us,"Maggie and Amiga are passed out on the bed as I write. Maggie's snoring and Amiga's cooing. What a great life, the 3 of us. Our life here with Maggie is better than I could have hoped. She fits perfectly!" That's the way it's supposed to be, isn't it?
